Chery Arrizo A8 PHEV

As a new series model, the overall design concept of the Chery Arrizo A8 PHEV has undergone an update. Notably, it adopts a contemporary front grille design with an exaggerated size, closely connected to the headlights on both sides, creating a strong overall impression. Additionally, to enhance the sporty ambiance, the front bumper features a trapezoidal ventilation design, integrated with deflector channels on both sides, contributing to a visually appealing effect.

In terms of dimensions, the Chery Arrizo A8 PHEV measures 4780/1843/1487mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2790mm. This places it in the category of a compact sedan with standard proportions. The straight waistline design contributes to a visually low and sleek profile, complementing the sporty front-end design effectively.

Apart from the C-DM badge on the car body, the new vehicle does not intentionally highlight its plug-in hybrid identity in terms of design. Unlike many hybrid models that tend to resemble electric cars more closely, this more traditional design might be more readily accepted.

The interior design focuses on a high-tech atmosphere. The Lion 5.0 Tech Cockpit prominently showcases intelligence. The Fengyun A8 is equipped with dual 12.3-inch LCD instrument panels that support wireless CarPlay and Huawei Hicar.

Moving to the rear, the Chery Arrizo A8 PHEV adopts a slightly upturned small ducktail design. Similar to the front, the rear bumper integrates deflector channels, reinforcing its sporty attributes.

Entering the interior, the center console design of the Chery Arrizo A8 PHEV aligns with the style and aesthetics prevalent in the family car market. The dual 12.3-inch touchscreen design imparts a sense of technology, incorporating wireless CarPlay and Huawei Hicar functionality. Meanwhile, the flat-bottom steering wheel contributes to an interior atmosphere with a touch of sportiness. In terms of features, the new car will be equipped with a panoramic sunroof, as well as ventilated and heated functions for the driver's seat.

In the power department, the Chery Arrizo A8 PHEV will be powered by the fifth-generation ACTECO 1.5TGDI efficient hybrid engine and an electric motor, forming a plug-in hybrid system. The engine boasts a maximum power of 115 kW and a maximum torque of 220 Nm, while the electric motor delivers a maximum power of 150 kW and a maximum torque of 310 Nm. The drivetrain is matched with a DHT150 hybrid gearbox, with a fuel consumption of 4.2L/100km (WLTC conditions) when operating on electric power, and a comprehensive fuel consumption of only 1L/100km. The acceleration from 0-50 km/h takes around 3 seconds, while the 0-100 km/h acceleration is around 7 seconds. Additionally, the pure electric range exceeds 125 km, and the comprehensive range surpasses 1400 km. According to official measurements, the Chery Arrizo A8 achieves a comprehensive range of 1503 km.
