Genesis G80 EV

From an external perspective, the Genesis G80 EV continues the design of traditional fuel vehicles, being a plug-in hybrid model. The distinctive shield-shaped front grille remains a highlight, but it has undergone a closed treatment, with hidden charging ports on both sides of the grille. Moving upward, the family logo has a hint of Bentley's flavor with two small wings. The split-type headlamp assembly adopts a parallel design, with the upper part housing the low beam and the lower part housing the high beam, both equipped with daytime running lights, presenting an overall attractive appearance.

As a mid-to-large-sized vehicle, the Genesis G80 EV has a relatively elongated side profile with a sleek roof design, conveying a sense of athleticism. Dimensions measure at 5005×1925×1475 millimeters with a wheelbase of 3010 millimeters. The waistline is positioned high, above the door handles, giving the car an elegant and mature posture, and the side mirrors feature a dual-color treatment. The bottom boasts aluminum alloy wheels with a multi-spoke design, exuding a masculine vibe.

The Genesis G80 EV adopts a completely new enclosed style, enhancing the robustness of the front face and giving it a distinctive character. The iconic parallel-line front headlamp assembly contributes to its strong recognizability.

In terms of the interior, the Genesis G80 EV features a flattened style with clean horizontal lines. The materials used are also highly luxurious, with craftsmanship and texture reaching a certain standard.

Turning to the rear, the Genesis G80 EV has a cyberpunk feel, with a pronounced ducktail spoiler at the top. In the middle, there is a heart-shaped switch for the trunk, and looking downward reveals a hidden camera, showcasing attention to detail. The taillights, like the front headlights, feature dual parallel lines but are more elongated, with a simpler design at the bottom without excessive chrome embellishments.

Entering the interior of the Genesis G80 EV, the materials and texture are comparable to German luxury brands. Large areas are covered with leather, and beneath the air vents, wood grain decoration is visible. Looking toward the roof, suede material is used for coverage. The steering wheel adopts a dual-spoke design, wrapped in genuine leather, providing a high-quality grip. In terms of functionality, it comes with standard features such as heating and memory functions. The fully digital instrument cluster is 8 inches for the base model and 12.3 inches for the high-end model. The central control screen adopts a floating design, appearing sleek with a size of 14.5 inches, and it is standard across the entire lineup. The infotainment system UI is card-style, making it user-friendly, and it supports Over-The-Air (OTA) upgrade functionality. The seats are well-padded, offering ample back support, and even the base model comes with leather upholstery. Whether on long trips or city driving, the seats perform well and feature ventilation, heating, and massage functions for the front seats.

In terms of power, the Genesis G80 EV is equipped with front and rear dual motors, with a total electric motor power of 272 kW and a total torque of 700 N·m. As an electric vehicle, it starts quietly, and it can accelerate to 100 kilometers per hour in just 4.9 seconds. In terms of handling, the steering is precise, but due to the large size of the vehicle, it may face challenges making sharp turns in tight spaces. Regarding the chassis, the electromagnetic suspension provides thorough vibration filtering, resulting in minimal sensations inside the car when encountering bumps in the road.
