2024 BYD Seal 06 DM-i Sedan

In terms of design, the 2024 BYD Seal 06 DM-i Sedan utilizes the latest design style from the Ocean series, featuring a closed front end with angular LED light strips on both sides. Additionally, the lower part of the front end is equipped with a through-type heat dissipation vent, giving it a sporty appearance. The sharp matrix headlights on both sides feature dual L-shaped daytime running lights.

The body dimensions of the 2024 BYD Seal 06 DM-i Sedan are 4830/1875/1495mm (length/width/height), with a wheelbase of 2790mm and a drag coefficient of 0.255. The side profile showcases a dual-section waistline and fixed hidden door handles, while the C-pillar area features a slight fastback design.

The rear of the 2024 BYD Seal 06 DM-i Sedan highlights trendy through-type taillights with dual C-shaped main light clusters on both sides, giving the new car a stylish and dynamic look. The rear bumper uses a dual-layer two-tone design, enhancing the sharpness of the diffuser and further boosting the car's sporty atmosphere.

The Seal 06 DM-i is built on the same platform as the Qin L and features BYD's new design concept for the Ocean series. The front of the Seal 06 adopts a closed front fascia, with a large horizontal grille design at the bottom. The sides are complemented by angular LED light groups, giving the overall design a dynamic appearance.

The front seats feature integrated headrests with a sporty design, and the simple and elegant decorative lines are arranged in a wave-like pattern, showcasing a gentle and delicate ripple effect like ocean waves. The cushioning is made from ultra-soft, comfortable materials, with optimized padding in key areas to provide excellent support, a snug fit, and overall comfort.

Inside, the new car's interior adopts BYD's family style, featuring a full LCD instrument panel and a large central control screen. The door panels and seat surfaces incorporate a lot of curved designs, with a few blue accents, creating an elegant and stylish overall atmosphere. Unlike the BYD Seal, the new car's gear shift area features a circular design, with a small, exquisite gear lever surrounded by various functional buttons, enhancing the interior quality. The Seal 06 DM-i is equipped with the new generation Ocean series steering wheel, with adjustments to the layout, including a metal brushed finish on the multifunction button area. Additionally, the interior comes with 31-color ambient lighting, offering different lighting modes.

In terms of intelligent driving, the Seal 06 DM-i is equipped with the DiPilot intelligent driving assistance system, which includes ACC adaptive cruise control, TSR traffic sign recognition, AEB automatic emergency braking, LDA lane departure assistance, RCTA rear cross-traffic alert, RCW rear collision warning, BSD blind spot detection, DOW door open warning, and AFL intelligent high and low beam assistance. The Seal 06 DM-i also features the DiLink intelligent system, supporting intelligent voice commands, smart entry, custom Gaode maps, and other highlight functions. Smart entry includes NFC car keys and Bluetooth car keys.

In terms of power, the Seal 06 DM-i uses BYD's fifth-generation DM technology, consisting of a plug-in hybrid system with a 1.5L engine and an electric motor. The engine outputs 74kW with a peak torque of 126N·m. There are two versions of the electric motor: the EHS120 with a maximum output of 120kW and a maximum torque of 210N·m, and the EHS160 with a maximum output of 160kW and a maximum torque of 260N·m.

The Seal 06 DM-i offers two range configurations: an 80km CLTC pure electric range and a 120km CLTC pure electric range (with corresponding battery capacities of 10.08kWh and 15.87kWh), and a low NEDC combined fuel consumption of 2.9L/100km. In terms of the chassis, the Seal 06 DM-i uses front MacPherson struts and a rear multi-link independent suspension. By optimizing bushing stiffness and damper damping force, the suspension friction is reduced. The overall texture is flexible, with crisp and clear suspension responses over speed bumps, significantly enhancing comfort.
