Chery Group has released its sales data for October, with the group selling 200,313 vehicles during the month, marking a 50.8% year-on-year increase. This is the first time the monthly sales have surpassed 200,000 units, setting a new record. Over the past four months, Chery Group has consistently achieved new monthly sales milestones of 150,000, 170,000, 190,000, and now 200,000 units. From January to October, Chery Group has accumulated total sales of 1,453,550 vehicles, representing a year-on-year growth of 41.6%.
Breaking down the figures by brand, Chery brand achieved sales of 140,360 vehicles in October, up by 50.3% year-on-year. From January to October, Chery brand achieved sales of 1,049,734 vehicles, marking a year-on-year growth of 35.8%. This marks the first time Chery brand's annual sales have exceeded one million units within the group. EXEED brand saw sales of 14,834 vehicles in October, a 127.9% increase year-on-year, and from January to October, it achieved sales of 94,919 vehicles, a year-on-year growth of 121.1%. JETOUR brand sold 38,053 vehicles in October, a 51.2% increase year-on-year, and from January to October, it sold 232,082 vehicles, marking a year-on-year growth of 64.7%.
In October, Chery Group presented its technological layout and latest achievements in the field of technology to global users through "Tech Within Reach" 2023 Chery Tech DA, showcasing forward-looking cutting-edge technologies such as L4 level autonomous RoboTaxi, LION AI large model boarding, car-sharing metaverse, and a concept vehicle with ultra-low aerodynamic drag, as well as several new energy vehicle models.
In the fourth quarter of this year, Chery Group plans to launch multiple super hybrid and E0X premium electric products. They have a two-year plan to expand to 24 super hybrid 3.0 models and 15 E0X premium electric new products.
