On November 7th, Changan Automobile Co., Ltd. in Chongqing released its production and sales quick report for October. The data reveals that Changan Automobile achieved production and sales figures of 274,256 and 241,028 units in October, representing year-on-year growth of 19.49% and 7.21%, respectively.
From January to October, Changan Automobile recorded total sales of 2,110,636 units, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 10.76%. Sales of Changan's self-branded vehicles amounted to 1,747,653 units, with a year-on-year growth of 15.93%. In the category of self-branded passenger cars, 1,340,980 units were sold, indicating a growth of 22.06% compared to the previous year. Changan's self-branded overseas sales reached 196,873 units, marking a 26.17% year-on-year increase.
In terms of new energy vehicles within the self-branded category, Changan reported 57,399 units sold in October, a substantial increase of 57.10% year-on-year. Cumulative sales for new energy vehicles from January to October reached 364,081 units, with an impressive year-on-year growth of 88.76%.
