Recently, an automotive blogger shared a letter from FAW Toyota addressed to its dealers. The letter mentioned that due to the current challenging market conditions and taking into consideration the inventory and financial pressures faced by dealers, FAW Toyota has decided to further reduce production from December to February, in addition to the substantial reductions that have already been implemented in October and November.
According to data, the insurance registration volume for FAW Toyota in the months of March to August this year has remained relatively stable, at around 60,000 units. Production figures have closely matched monthly sales data. Official figures indicate that in the first half of this year, FAW Toyota sold 373,195 vehicles to end customers, marking a 6% year-on-year growth. Among these sales, 114,376 units were electric vehicles, constituting 31% of the total sales.
