According to the latest news from Valeo, the company recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion of its wiper business in Wenling, Taizhou. Upon completion of the project, Valeo will invest in the country's first wiper blade extrusion line, along with new wiper motor production lines, wiper blade production lines, and wiper sensor cleaning system production lines. This will expand the production scale of Valeo's Wenling plant and further enhance the global technical and cost competitiveness of Valeo's wiper products.

It is reported that the expansion project of Valeo's Wenling plant is funded by the Wenling Industrial Zone Management Committee and leased by Taizhou Valeo Wenling Automotive Parts Co., Ltd., with a total investment of nearly 200 million yuan.
The project includes a 2,000-square-meter constant temperature and humidity wiper blade extrusion line workshop, a 2,000-square-meter intelligent three-dimensional warehouse, an automated logistics transportation system, high-standard sewage treatment equipment, and is designed as a smart operation factory. It also features FM-certified fire protection system design, green energy, and energy-saving products.
Valeo's wiper business has a century-long history, and in China, it was one of the first businesses Valeo launched 30 years ago. In 1994, Valeo established its first wiper factory in Wenling, and today, it has become one of the major manufacturers of wiper and washer systems in the country.
According to Valeo, as the automotive industry transitions towards smart driving and new energy vehicles, Valeo's wiper technology is also continuously innovating, actively developing silent wipers and camera washers. More and more domestic new energy models are adopting Valeo's wiper technology and products.
