Recently, we came across information about the HuaWei Aito M9. The vehicle adopts a completely new design style and will offer both range-extender and pure electric versions. Moreover, based on previously revealed information, the new car is expected to make its official debut in the fourth quarter, with prices likely to exceed 500,000 yuan.
From an exterior standpoint, the HuaWei Aito M9 introduces a fresh design approach, offering a more avant-garde visual effect.
Additionally, the HuaWei Aito M9 has a lidar mounted on its roof, and cameras are equipped on the front fenders. It is anticipated to feature the HUAWEI ADS 2.0 advanced intelligent driving assistance system.
The side profile of the vehicle appears robust, presenting a solid and stable visual effect, accentuated by a two-tone design, which adds a touch of luxury. The car also features hidden door handles, roof racks, and 21-inch multi-spoke wheels.
In terms of dimensions, the HuaWei Aito M9 measures 5230mm in length, 1999mm in width, and 1800mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3110mm.
The rear design of the vehicle is solid and broad, incorporating a through-type tail light design complemented by horizontal design lines, significantly enhancing the visual width of the rear. Overall, the Aito M9 appears to have a distinctive and upscale design aesthetic.
Regarding its powertrain, the HuaWei Aito M9 will offer both range-extender and pure electric versions. The pure electric model will be equipped with dual motors, with the front motor having a maximum power of 160 kW and the rear motor offering 230 kW. It will feature a ternary lithium battery, though the specific capacity has not been disclosed. The range-extender version will be powered by a 1.5T four-cylinder range extender combined with dual electric motors. The engine offers a maximum power of 112 kW, with the front drive motor rated at 165 kW and the rear drive motor at 200 kW. This variant will also incorporate a ternary lithium battery from CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Limited).
