The exterior design of the XPeng X9 has been revealed for the first time. Positioned as a new model under the XPeng brand, the X9 is set to be a medium to large MPV. The vehicle is expected to officially launch in the fourth quarter of this year.

The overall design of the XPeng X9 indeed deviates from the traditional business-like aesthetic commonly associated with MPVs. Whether it's the design of the front or the rear, the X9 diverges from the conventional vertical boxy style typically seen in MPVs, making it appear more youthful.
In terms of details, the front end continues XPeng's familial design style, featuring a closed-off front fascia and integrated LED headlights. The lidar remains positioned on either side of the front bumper.

Regarding wheels and tires, the new car offers a choice between 19-inch and 20-inch rims, with tire specifications being 235/55 R19 and 235/50 R20, respectively. Additionally, different styles of rims and front bumpers are available as optional extras.

As for the powertrain, the XPeng X9 will come in both single and dual motor versions. The rear motor of the two-wheel-drive version has a maximum power output of 235kW. For the four-wheel-drive version, the front motor offers a maximum power of 135kW, while the rear motor reaches up to 235kW. The battery employed in the X9 is a ternary lithium-ion battery sourced from Innovusion.
