Volkswagen (China) Sales Co., Ltd. has filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the "Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automotive Products" and the "Implementation Measures for the Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automotive Products." The recall includes a portion of the Bentayga models.

Recall Scope:
Starting from today, a total of 888 imported Bentayga vehicles produced between February 18, 2022, and October 22, 2022, will be recalled. This recall is an expansion of the recall campaign announced on April 29, 2022, by Volkswagen (China) Sales Co., Ltd. for certain imported Bentley vehicles.
Reason for Recall:
The vehicles within the scope of this recall were improperly assembled during the production process, resulting in the rear seats not being properly locked into the seat rails. In the event of a collision, the rear seats may move or deform, increasing the risk of injury to the occupants and posing a safety hazard.

Solution:
Bentley, under Volkswagen (China) Sales Co., Ltd., will conduct free inspections and adjustments of the rear seat installation for the recalled vehicles through authorized dealerships to eliminate the safety hazard.
