Recently, GAC Aion revealed its latest sales figures. The data indicates that in December, GAC Aion sold a total of 45,947 new cars, a year-on-year increase of 53%. As of now, the total sales of new GAC Aion vehicles in 2023 have reached 480,003 units, representing a remarkable 77% year-on-year growth.

Since its production commencement in April 2019, spanning 4 years and 8 months, GAC Aion has achieved cumulative production and sales exceeding one million units. On December 28th, GAC Aion officially marked the production milestone of one million vehicles, signifying a new era for the company.
Currently, GAC Aion boasts a dual-brand matrix with "AION+Hyper" branding. Under the Aion brand, there are several series models available, including AION S, AION Y, and AION V, with the first two being the primary contributors to EA brand's sales. According to previous data released by the China Passenger Car Association, the cumulative wholesale sales of new AION S and AION Y vehicles from January to November 2023 were 206,400 units and 205,537 units, respectively, while Aion V sold 16,319 units.

The Hyper brand, launched officially in September 2022, has introduced three models so far: the Hyper SSR, positioned as a sports car, the mid-to-large luxury sedan Hyper GT, and the mid-to-large SUV Hyper HT. Hyper HT, launched on November 15th, offers a total of six models with prices ranging from 21.39 to 32.99 million RMB.
According to the China Passenger Car Association's retail sales ranking for new energy vehicle manufacturers from January to November 2023, GAC Aion ranked third with sales of nearly 440,000 units, corresponding to a market share of 6.5%, following BYD and Tesla China.

The rapid growth in GAC Aion's sales can be attributed to its in-house research and development in core technology areas such as EV and ICV. In 2023 alone, GAC Aion introduced a new generation of technologies including Quark electric drive, 5C fast charging, Magazine battery 2.0, StarSpirit electronic and electrical architecture, and ADiGO 5.0 intelligent driving interconnected ecosystem.
Building on these achievements, GAC Aion states that the next steps involve further exploring core technologies in intelligent networking and new energy. The company aims to achieve mass production of cutting-edge technologies such as AI large-model intelligent cockpit, solid-state batteries, and L4-level intelligent driving successively.
Regarding solid-state batteries, GAC Aion has already disclosed a clear timeline for mass production, confirming that it will achieve full-scale production with solid-state batteries in 2026, with Hyper being the first to adopt this technology. In the field of intelligent driving, GAC Aion's fully self-developed AION LX L4 Robotaxi autonomous driving vehicle has entered the vehicle rule-grade pre-installation testing phase.
