Aion Hyper SSR

The appearance design of Aion Hyper SSR is full of supercar elements. The name SSR stands for Super, Sport, and Race, and each letter is related to performance. Although it is an electric car, its front-end design leans towards traditional sports cars. The large opening of the front bumper for aerodynamics service is an essential element, along with the streamlined rearview mirror and the design of the front hood slot. Combined with the peregrine falcon air flow channel used on the side of the car, it can effectively streamline the airflow in front and to the side, achieving the effect of reducing air resistance.

On the side, the automatic butterfly wing door of Aion Hyper SSR is the coolest element of the car. The shape of the wheel arch airflow passage is also very supercar-like. It is combined with the air intake on the front bumper and the wheel arch airflow passage at the bottom of the door, which can significantly improve the turbulence inside the wheel arch. The body size is 4556/1988/1230mm in length, width, and height, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2650mm. The side lines can particularly reflect a unique aesthetic design of Aion Hyper SSR's aerodynamics.

In terms of appearance design, Aion Hyper SSR fully meets the standards of a million-dollar supercar. The most notable feature is its automatic butterfly wing doors, which give the vehicle a unique temperament, enhance its sense of class, and have a high rate of turning heads.

In terms of interior design, Aion Hyper SSR features a sleek and aggressive design. It is equipped with a 14.6-inch floating center display and an 8.8-inch LCD instrument panel. The steering wheel has a unique style, incorporating carbon fiber material and adopting a lever-type electronic gear shifting mechanism.

Aion Hyper SSR is equipped with tires with a size of 245/35 R20 for the front wheels and 305/30 R20 for the rear wheels. The high friction coefficient race tires combined with long fiber carbon ceramic brake discs make Aion Hyper SSR have better grip and braking performance, demonstrating excellent handling performance.

As a supercar, Aion Hyper SSR's rear design is similar to that of mainstream sports cars. The addition of the rear diffuser helps to further improve its rear axle downforce. It is worth mentioning that Aion Hyper SSR also has an active rear spoiler that improves the vehicle's handling limit and driving stability.

The cockpit structure of Aion Hyper SSR is three-dimensional and simple, with no shortage of mechanical texture like traditional fuel supercars. The hexagonal racing-style steering wheel design is very personalized. The car is equipped with an embedded 14.6-inch multimedia display and an 8.88-inch instrument panel. The style of the air outlet below is very unique, and it is also equipped with a lever-type electronic gear shifting mechanism. Aion Hyper SSR also has unique features in intelligent technology, including AI trajectory traction system, Driver First intelligent cockpit, and Ace Digital Coach, among other OTA functions.

In terms of power system, Aion Hyper SSR adopts a two-speed four-in-one high-performance integrated motor drive and a 900V silicon carbide chip. The maximum power is 1225 horsepower/22000rpm, and the maximum torque is 1230N·m. The peak wheel torque is as high as 12000N·m, and the comprehensive 0-100km/h acceleration time is only 1.9 seconds. Aion Hyper SSR has a full carbon fiber body covering and a full aluminum alloy frame. The body torsional stiffness reaches 50475 N·m/degree, and it is also equipped with AION's self-developed magazine battery system safety technology.

The suspension design of the full aluminum alloy front and rear double-wishbone structure and SDC intelligent variable damping shock absorber not only provides stable handling performance but also takes into account driving comfort in daily driving. As the first model of AEP 3.0 platform, Aion Hyper SSR is also equipped with ELSD electronic limited-slip differential and R-EPS steering gear, applying AICS intelligent chassis system to optimize dynamic balance, improve response speed, and achieve precise control during turning to cope with high-difficulty cornering driving.
