The XPENG G9 is positioned as a mid-to-large-sized all-electric SUV, built on the X-EEA 3.0 electronic architecture. It is the first mass-produced vehicle to feature an 800V SiC ultra-fast charging platform, which is capable of replenishing over 200km of range in just 5 minutes.

The front design of the XPENG G9 retains the signature X Robot Face design language seen in other XPENG models. The distinctive feature is the continuous lighting design of the headlights, which is representative of the brand. Similar to the XPENG P5, the G9 also cleverly integrates the laser radar with the headlights, forming a cohesive connection with the lower bumper lines.

From the side, the car exhibits a sturdy appearance with a cohesive waistline and skirt line, adding layers to its design. Thoughtful details such as small decorations and integrated cameras on the fenders enhance the overall aesthetics. The dimensions of the vehicle are 4891mm in length, 1937mm in width, 1680mm (1670mm) in height, with a wheelbase of 2998mm. The G9 is also equipped with hidden door handles, frameless windows, and 21-inch low-drag wheels, resulting in a low drag coefficient of just 0.272Cd.

Inside the vehicle, the 10.25-inch LCD instrument cluster has a strong family resemblance, while the center features two 14.96-inch dual screens with built-in Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8155P chips.

At the rear, the continuous taillight design, coupled with the shoulder line, widens the visual effect of the rear of the vehicle. When illuminated, the taillights exhibit a refined appearance. Notably, the roof luggage rack of the G9 hides 5G communication antennas, fulfilling both design and functional requirements.

Stepping inside the vehicle, the eye-catching three large screens cannot be ignored. The 10.25-inch LCD instrument panel showcases the family-style design, while the central area features two 14.96-inch dual screens with an embedded Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8155P chip. The vehicle's infotainment system adopts XPENG's latest X-mart 4.0 system, which offers 3D human-machine interaction and the ability to project the physical world onto the vehicle's screen, providing an impressive user experience. Additionally, the intelligent voice interaction system has been optimized to deliver on commands instantly.

In terms of intelligent driving, the G9 will be equipped with dual NVIDIA DRIVE Orin intelligent driving assistance chips, providing a computing power of 508 TOPS to support the XPILOT 4.0 system. The hardware includes 31 perception sensors, including 2 lidars, 12 cameras, 5 millimeter-wave radars, and 12 ultrasonic sensors. It enables full-scenario assisted driving, from parking spaces to city roads, highways, and final parking spots.

The G9 prioritizes comfort in its seating, featuring perforated NAPPA leather upholstery and plush internal padding. The seats provide a comfortable and cozy feel. In terms of features, the G9 offers power-adjustable, heated, ventilated, and massage-enabled front seats, while the passenger seat includes a leg rest. The second-row seats also provide heating, massage, and a 10-degree recline adjustment.

As for powertrain options, the XPENG G9 offers both rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions. The four-wheel drive variant is equipped with a silicon carbide (SiC) triple-in-one electric drive system, delivering a maximum power of 405kW and a peak torque of 717Nm. The rear-wheel drive model features a motor with a maximum power of 230kW and a peak torque of 430Nm. In terms of range, the 570 Plus/570 Pro/570 Max variants come with a 78.2 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, providing a range of 570km on the CLTC test cycle. The 702 Pro/702 Max/650 Performance Pro/650 Performance Max/650 Launch Edition models are equipped with a 98 kWh battery pack.
