The ChangAn ShenLan S7 retains the family design language seen in the ShenLan SL03, featuring elongated headlights that enhance the frontal aggression, while maintaining the large-sized ventilation grille design below. Additionally, both the pure electric and plug-in hybrid versions of the front end feature a closed grille design.

At the rear, the ChangAn ShenLan S7 continues the family design with a continuous taillight design, characterized by distinctive taillight shapes on both sides. As the plug-in hybrid version adopts hidden exhaust design, the rear styling remains the same for both powertrain options. The dimensions of the vehicle are as follows: length 4750mm, width 1930mm, height 1625mm, and a wheelbase of 2900mm.

The ChangAn ShenLan S7 continues the family design language, with the upper headlights complementing the lower contours to enhance the sportiness of the front fascia. Through the optimization of the vehicle's aerodynamics, the ChangAn ShenLan S7 achieves a low drag coefficient of 0.258Cd.

The interior of the ChangAn ShenLan S7 adopts a minimalist design approach, enhancing the cabin's sense of luxury through extensive leather wrapping. It features a 15.6-inch central touchscreen that supports rotation of up to 15 degrees to the left and right.

The interior of the ChangAn ShenLan S7 still bears resemblance to the ShenLan SL03 in overall design but differs in many details. The central area still features a floating-style central control screen, with air vents positioned on both sides and below the screen, rather than a unified and continuous design. The steering wheel shape is similar to that of the ShenLan SL03, but there is no instrument cluster. The overall design of the center console creates a strong sense of envelopment.

The seats in the ChangAn ShenLan S7 are wrapped in genuine leather and offer a wide range of adjustable functions, ensuring high comfort. It is worth mentioning that the design of the front passenger seatbelt anchor point is located on the seatback, which is innovative, and we will pay attention to its practical effect in subsequent experiences. Of course, a panoramic sunroof is certainly not absent.

As the first SUV on the ChangAn EPA1 platform, the ChangAn ShenLan S7 is built on a fully electric platform that supports various powertrain configurations, including pure electric, plug-in hybrid, and hydrogen fuel cell. Furthermore, one of its selling points is the rear-wheel drive, which is expected to deliver an enjoyable driving experience. In terms of power, the pure electric version of the ChangAn ShenLan S7 has a maximum power output of 160kW and 190kW, while the plug-in hybrid version features a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine as a range extender with a maximum power output of 70kW and a peak power of 175kW from the electric motor.
