In response, Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares stated that the company's performance in the first half of 2024 did not meet expectations, reflecting both the broad challenges faced by the industry and internal operational issues. "The group is taking corrective measures to address these problems, and we have also launched an exciting product blitz plan, with no fewer than 20 new cars to be launched this year. If executed successfully, this will bring greater opportunities to the group."

It is reported that among the 20 new products planned to be launched in 2024, ten models, including the Fiat Grande Panda, Jeep Wagoneer S, and the new Peugeot 5008, have already begun production in the first half of this year.

As a reference, Stellantis is a multinational automobile manufacturer formed by the 50:50 merger of Peugeot Citroën Group (PSA) and Fiat Chrysler Group (FCA), now the fourth largest automotive group in the world. It owns many well-known brands, including Dodge, Peugeot, Citroën, Jeep, Chrysler, Maserati, Fiat, and Alfa Romeo. In August 2023, Stellantis was ranked 31st in the 2023 Fortune Global 500 list.
