At the 2023 Chengdu Auto Show, Fang Cheng Bao unveiled its first model – the Leopard 5 – to the public for the first time. According to the official statement, the initial channel terminals for Fang Cheng Bao Leopard 5 will adopt a fully direct-operated mode to ensure consistent service and experience quality.
Exterior: The Leopard 5 adopts a more squared design style, with its current matrix headlights and narrow-striped front grille creating an appealing layered visual effect. At the same time, the car also features numerous physical buttons, ensuring convenient operations. It's reported that the car will also incorporate BYD's latest in-car infotainment system.
The main selling point of the BYD Fang Cheng Bao Leopard 5 is its powertrain. According to official introductions, the Leopard 5 is the first model built on BYD's new DMO super hybrid off-road platform and is expected to feature the Yunbian-P intelligent hydraulic body control system. The vehicle will also come with two electric motors and three locks. The Leopard 5 is a "longitudinally mounted" engine model, which provides more generous space for the Yunbian system. Furthermore, the new vehicle is anticipated to have a comprehensive range of 1200 kilometers.
