At the 2023 Chengdu Auto Show, we saw the Lynkco 08 EM-P. Positioned as a mid-sized SUV, it utilizes a plug-in hybrid power system. Simultaneously, the brand also launched a limited edition Lynkco 08, with only 1008 units available. The Lynkco 08 is the flagship model built on the new generation CMA Evo architecture.
Lynkco 08 incorporates the "The Next Day" design language. The front fascia has a high recognition factor, featuring 'Dawn Light' daytime running lights with a unique design. The headlight assembly is segmented, and the grille light strip is named the "Urban Skyline Tech Strip." Apart from the traditional LED light setup, there are various lighting effects.
On the side profile, the Lynkco 08 employs a dual-tone design. The side mirrors are not connected to the A-pillar and feature an interactive light strip that displays a charging status indicator and is equipped with cameras. The car features frameless doors and concealed handles, and even the side mirrors adopt an edgeless design. In terms of dimensions, the car measures 4820mm in length, 1915mm in width, 1685mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2848mm.
At the rear, the car boasts a uniquely styled through-tail light consisting of individual light sources. The bottom part of the tail features a diffuser, and the roof has an aerodynamic spoiler along with a concealed rear wiper.
For the interior, the Lynkco 08 prioritizes material quality and ambiance. The design gives a youthful and dynamic visual effect. The ambient lighting supports effects like breathing, color change, and rhythmic movements, showcased in areas like the doors and central console.
The Lynkco 08 comes with a 92-inch AR-HUD, which can project an image at a 10-meter distance when parked, creating an AR cinema screen. Complemented by a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument cluster, it enhances the driver's interactive experience. The 15.4-inch center screen has an ultra-thin bezel, 2.5K resolution, and is equipped with the LYNK Flyme Auto system, giving an overall feel similar to mobile devices.
Additionally, the Lynkco 08 is fitted with a Harman Kardon audio system featuring 23 speakers and offering 3D surround sound. The Lynkco 08 adopts a five-seat layout with NAPPA leather seats that feature heating, ventilation, and massage functions. The front seats have individual headrest speakers, with the co-driver's seat having an electric leg rest. The rear seat backrest can be adjusted in two positions and has expandable trays.
Powerwise, the Lynkco 08 EM-P is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system with a combined power output of 436 kW and peak torque of 905 N·m, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and featuring a tri-motor all-wheel-drive setup. The car uses a 39.6 kWh ternary lithium battery, offering a CLTC pure electric range of up to 245 kilometers, a combined range of 1400 km, a power consumption of 5.5L/100 km, and can charge from 30% to 80% in just 28 minutes. It also supports a 3.3 kW external power output feature.
