The 2024 DongFeng Forthing U-Tour V9 PHEV MPV will offer two front fascia designs: the Qingyun Ladder series and the Chinese Knot series. The Qingyun Ladder series features multiple horizontal chrome strips filling the grille, while the Chinese Knot series has vertical decorations with an upper design resembling a "Chinese knot," showcasing creativity. Additionally, different grille designs correspond to different headlight styles, with the Qingyun Ladder series adopting vertical daytime running lights that create a striking effect with the grille, while the Chinese Knot series incorporates more flexible lines for decoration.

The new vehicle's side profile features a segmented waistline design, and the D-pillar has wave-like decorations, presenting a stylish look. The rear end is characterized by a layered effect created by through-type taillights and a spoiler design. In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5251mm in length, 1920mm in width, and 1810mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3018mm.

The headlights on both sides of the front fascia are integrated with the front grille, enhancing overall cohesion and visually extending the width of the front. The vehicle also features a continuous chrome trim, creating the effect of a through-type LED daytime running light, which enhances the sense of technology.

The vehicle will be equipped with dual electric sliding doors, 6 airbags, an openable panoramic sunroof, 360-degree panoramic imaging with a transparent chassis, wireless charging for front-row phones, electric seat adjustment for the second row, small tables for the second row, and independent rear air conditioning vents.

Depending on the configuration, the interior will offer either dual or triple screen setups. The high-end models will feature a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 16.2-inch touchscreen display, and a 12.3-inch passenger entertainment screen, forming an impressive 41-inch front smart triple screen display, showcasing a strong sense of technology. It also comes equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and the Tencent TAI 4.0 intelligent car system, providing a rich entertainment experience.

The Forthing U-Tour V9 uses a 2+2+3 seating layout. The driver's seat offers 10-way power adjustment with memory, heating/ventilation, and an eight-point massage function with five preset modes. The front passenger seat features 8-way power adjustment. The second row consists of two independent aviation seats with 12-way adjustment, ventilation, heating, massage, intelligent armrest screen, rear small table, and four-way front and rear sliding. The third-row seats are cleverly designed to fold completely into the floor, providing a trunk space of 593 liters, which can be expanded to 2792 liters when the third-row seats are folded down.

The Forthing U-Tour V9 is equipped with a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system. The 1.5T engine delivers a maximum power of 154 horsepower and a peak torque of 230 Nm. The electric motor has a maximum power of 150 kW (204 horsepower) and a peak torque of 310 Nm. For range, the new vehicle offers pure electric ranges of 100 km and 200 km (CLTC conditions), corresponding to a total range of 1200 km and 1300 km, respectively. According to the official figures, its comprehensive fuel consumption under the CLTC standard is 5.27L/100km when the battery is depleted, with a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 8.8 seconds. Additionally, it features a 3.3 kW external power discharge function.
