2025 SAIC Maxus Interstellar X Electric Pickup

The 2025 SAIC Maxus Interstellar X Electric Pickup is a fully electric, all-wheel-drive pickup built on the Interstellar GST platform. It features a fully enclosed front and a continuous headlamp design, along with a notably spacious front trunk. The new vehicle measures 5500 (5630)/2005/1860 (1874) mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 3300 mm.

Inside, the SAIC Maxus Interstellar X adopts the minimalist style that is becoming increasingly popular in modern pickups. It features dual 12.3-inch screens and is equipped with Tencent's TAI 4.0 system, placing it at the forefront of its class in terms of intelligent in-car technology. The materials used in the cabin also reflect high-end quality, with large areas of soft-touch materials and some models even offering a suede headliner, elevating the interior to a level comparable to premium SUVs.

The 2025 SAIC Maxus Interstellar X Electric Pickup features a closed front grille design, with circular lighting outlining the grille. Above the grille, there is a backlit MAXUS logo that significantly enhances the vehicle's futuristic appeal.

The 2025 SAIC Maxus Interstellar X Electric Pickup adopts a four-seat layout, elegantly achieving "zero-contact" intelligent entry and exit. The front passenger seat is designed to rotate, and when the door is opened, it can rotate 45° outward into a welcoming mode for easy access.

The cargo bed of the SAIC Maxus Interstellar X has dimensions of 1561x1610/1510 (with a molded cargo box) x535 mm, offering a volume of 1200L. Additionally, it features an innovative design where the rear bed and the passenger cabin are connected, creating an expansive 2600mm x 1600mm open space. This design enhances both the loading area and the space for camping or resting.

For its all-wheel-drive system, the Interstellar X includes an all-terrain mode, front and rear axle differential locks, as well as a transparent chassis and an off-road expert mode, demonstrating impressive off-road capabilities. The front suspension is a double-wishbone design, while the rear suspension is available in two versions: a non-independent leaf spring and an independent multi-link suspension, the latter improving driving comfort significantly. The vehicle also comes with trailer assistance (for RV parking), L2-level driver assistance, and other features.

The SAIC Maxus Interstellar X EV is equipped with dual electric motors, with the front motor delivering a maximum power of 138 kW and a peak torque of 250 Nm, and the rear motor producing 216 kW and a peak torque of 450 Nm. All variants are powered by a 102.2 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery from SAIC Times, providing a range of 560 km under the CLTC test cycle. The top-tier flagship model is also equipped with air suspension, which is rare in this class.
