2024 XiaoMi SU 7 EV Sedan

XiaoMi SU 7 adopts a highly sporty design for the front face, with headlights featuring rounded polygonal shapes and an interior structure resembling the letter "米" (mi), enhancing recognition. Additionally, below the headlights, there are real air ducts to assist in brake system cooling, while the lower trim and engine hood accentuate a sporty feel, exuding a racing car style.

Moving to the vehicle's side profile, the XiaoMi SU 7 boasts very smooth body lines, resembling a coupe-like sensation. The sloping rear design and flared wheel arches further highlight elements of a sports car. As for the rear of the vehicle, the XiaoMi SU 7 adopts the currently popular through-type taillight design, with the XiaoMi logo above for enhanced recognition. The upturned small ducktail design is exceptionally elegant, and it also features an electrically controlled spoiler. The overall dimensions of the vehicle are 4997/1963/1455mm (length/width/height), with a wheelbase of 3000mm.

Regarding the interior, the XiaoMi SU 7 is equipped with a three-spoke steering wheel, with red accents around the driving mode switch button, emphasizing a sense of sportiness. In terms of screens, the new car features a 7.1-inch flip-up instrument panel screen and a 16.1-inch center control screen with a 3K resolution, complemented by a 56-inch HUD with a peak brightness of 13000nit. Additionally, the SU7 retains most physical buttons, making common functions more convenient to operate.

XiaoMi SU 7's exterior design is led by Mr. Li Tianyuan, the designer of BMW iX, which gives it a very high aesthetic appeal. Its most distinctive feature is the "米" shaped headlight cluster on the front, which is creative and highly recognizable.

XiaoMi SU 7's interior will offer four color options: Galaxy Grey, Obsidian Black, Misty Purple, and Twilight Red. Additionally, it will be equipped with ambient lighting, sport-style Nappa leather seats, a 5.35-square-meter panoramic glass roof, a 15-speaker sound system, and more. The new car also features a spacious 105-liter front trunk.

In terms of vehicle intelligence, the XiaoMi SU 7 is powered by the Snapdragon 8295 chip, with support for the XiaoMi PANGU OS at the base level, featuring a card layout for desktop applications and freely adjustable window sizes. XiaoAi, the virtual assistant, offers deep control through voice commands, recognizing vague instructions and facilitating five-zone voice interaction, not only controlling the car but also your XiaoMi smartphone, enhanced by AI models. Upon entering the vehicle, the phone and car seamlessly connect without intervention, and there's a one-touch mirroring of phone applications to the car's display. The car-home connection allows for convenient functions like activating the car's air conditioning and seat heating with a simple voice command. Furthermore, it enables home surveillance camera access and one-touch doorbell intercom, and it can automate settings like geofencing for automatic activation of homecoming mode upon entering a specified area. The car supports CarPlay and AirPlay, including compatibility with Apple iPads.

The four-door windows feature UV-IR coatings to isolate ultraviolet and infrared rays. The rear provides privacy glass, maintaining an interior temperature of 59.5 degrees Celsius after 1.5 hours of exposure at 38 degrees Celsius, lower than competitors. The new car seats also feature active side support. The vehicle offers 32 storage compartments in total, with a smart refrigerator in the rear seats, a front trunk volume of 105L, and a rear trunk volume of 507L.

In terms of powertrain, the XiaoMi SU 7's dual-motor version delivers a maximum power of 673 horsepower, peak torque of 838 Nm, accelerates from 0-100km/h in 2.78 seconds, with a top speed of 210km/h. It is equipped with a 101kWh NMC lithium-ion battery from CATL, providing an NEDC range of 800km. The new car adopts low-temperature high-power battery technology, significantly increasing discharge power at temperatures below -15 degrees Celsius. The single-motor version delivers a maximum power of 299 horsepower, accelerates from 0-100km/h in 5.28 seconds, and is equipped with a 73.6kWh LFP blade battery from CATL, providing an NEDC range of 700km. The car also features a sporty sound. BOOST mode offers 20 seconds of peak torque output for rapid acceleration.

For the chassis, the XiaoMi intelligent chassis features front double wishbones and rear five-link independent suspension, with CDC variable damping shock absorbers and closed-loop air springs in a 50:50 weight distribution. The new car employs a fully self-developed chassis control algorithm and customizable driving modes, allowing for drift capabilities. In terms of the braking system, the vehicle offers Brembo four-piston calipers, paired with Bosch DPB+ Bosch ESP 10.0, with a minimum braking distance from 100-0km/h of 33.3 meters.
