Exterior-wise, the 2024 FAW HongQi EH7 EV Sedan adopts the latest family-style design of the HongQi new energy vehicles, with a closed grille design that enhances visual aesthetics while optimizing the aerodynamic coefficient. In terms of details, the front headlights feature a 7-shaped design with expected rich lighting functions, and the lower grille at the bumper presents a smiling style, showcasing the brand's distinctive design elements.

The body side profile is sleek, featuring a dual-color body design. The entire body maximizes passenger space with a short front and rear overhang and a long wheelbase design. Additionally, the 2024 FAW HongQi EH7 EV Sedan incorporates hidden door handles to reduce aerodynamic drag. The design of the rear window with a steep angle resembles a coupe style. An AI face recognition camera is also provided on the A-pillar. In terms of dimensions, the new car measures 4980mm in length, 1915mm in width, 1490mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3000mm.

In terms of interior design, the FAW HongQi EH7 EV Sedan follows a wraparound layout, with a floating center console that highlights a modern technological feel. The seats, illuminated leather, and audio trim panels feature a parameterized arrangement of Kanas waves design, inspired by the ripple effects of Kanas Lake.

Looking at the rear of the vehicle, the 2024 FAW HongQi EH7 EV Sedan features a through-type design for the taillights, which are smoked and designed with a similar 7-shaped pattern on both sides, echoing the front grille. When the taillights illuminate, the light strip inside the lamp cavity creates a wing-like effect, creating a unique HongQi brand style.

Regarding the interior, the new car focuses on material creation and interior color matching, equipped with a 6-inch + 15.5-inch curved dual-screen display, as well as an AR HUD head-up display system, powered by the Snapdragon 8155 chip, representing a bold attempt by HongQi. The interior design remains minimalist, with virtually no physical buttons, and the steering wheel is quite distinctive, resembling a gaming controller. Additionally, the vehicle seats are designed in a unified style, with fresher interior color matching, presenting an overall youthful and sporty atmosphere.

In terms of power, the 2024 FAW HongQi EH7 EV Sedan has a maximum motor power of 202 kW/253 kW, equipped with ternary lithium batteries. According to previous information, the car will offer a battery-swappable version and a long-range fast-charging version, with a range of 600 km for the battery-swappable version and up to 800 km for the long-range fast-charging version. The new car is equipped with front and rear dual motors, with a total power of 455 kW and a peak torque of 756 N·m, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. The new car also features the HAP precise automatic driving assistance system.
