2024 BMW I5 EDrive 35L Electric Coupe

Appearance-wise, the BMW i5 offers two exterior styles: a sporty package and a luxury package. Comparatively, the sporty version, especially the front end, looks more vibrant. The design of the sporty package is also understated, making it suitable for both home and business use.

The vehicle measures 5175 mm in length, 1900 mm in width, and 1520 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3105 mm. The interior design of the BMW 7 Series has been applied and evolved in the BMW i5. The interactive ambient light strip similar to the 7 Series can display different colors and zones in the BMW i5. Additionally, the 12.3-inch instrument cluster and 14.9-inch central control screen create a visually impactful experience, giving the front row a mini 7 Series feel. The center console features many design elements from the flagship family, such as the crystal-cut iDrive control knob and numerous touch buttons, providing a high-end feel for the front passengers.

The BMW i5 eDrive35L has a maximum power of 210 kW, a maximum torque of 410 Nm, a ternary lithium battery with a capacity of 79.05 kWh, and a CLTC pure electric range of 536 km. Faster and quieter are the characteristics of the new generation BMW i5 series models. Additionally, users can activate the Sport Boost function at any time via the paddle shifter to instantly gain an extra 30 Nm of torque output.

As an electric vehicle, the BMW i5 continues to pursue driving pleasure. For instance, the integrated braking system can shorten the braking distance by up to 20%, and the 9th generation lateral dynamics management system enhances cornering control. The variable-ratio electric power steering system adds more fun by balancing stability and ease. The suspension features further optimized double-wishbone double-ball joint front suspension and multi-link rear suspension, balancing agility and comfort.

The refined tuning of the BMW i5 also delivers a more enjoyable driving experience. It includes multiple driving modes and a B-pedal single-pedal mode. The Sport Boost function has been added and can be activated at any time via the paddle on the left side of the steering wheel, providing an extra 30 Nm of torque output. Additionally, there is a long-range mode that maximizes range when the battery is low.
