NIO EC6

In terms of appearance, the NIO EC6 adopts a family design style. The front fascia has a relatively simple shape but retains a flat air intake with an open grille design. The headlights on both sides have a segmented design, giving the car a more distinctive style.

The lower bumper features a flat polygonal air intake, adding a sense of depth to the front end. The front lip is decorated with a chrome strip that extends across, effectively elongating the visual width of the front face.

The wheels feature a design similar to a dense mesh pattern, creating an impressive texture. They are paired with 255/50 R20 tires sourced from Michelin.

The full LCD instrument cluster, NOMI voice assistant, large vertically-oriented central control screen, and dial-type electronic gear shifter are distinctive design features of NIO models.

As for the side profile, the new car features a sleek and sporty SUV coupe design, exuding a strong sense of athleticism. Chrome strips are applied around the windows, enhancing the sense of refinement. The door handles are of the pop-out type, serving to reduce aerodynamic drag. The wheel arches and side skirts have a robust appearance, adding a touch of crossover flair. In terms of dimensions, the NIO EC6 measures 4850/1965/1731 (1714) mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2900 mm. It is positioned as a mid-size SUV.

In terms of the rear design, there is a slightly upturned small ducktail on the top of the rear trunk. The taillights feature a spoon-shaped design, which is highly recognizable when illuminated. The trapezoidal license plate frame is recessed, adding a sense of depth to the rear. The lower bumper has a muscular appearance, conveying a sense of power.

Regarding the interior, the NIO EC6 adopts a family-oriented and minimalist design style. It is equipped with a three-spoke flat-bottom multifunction steering wheel, a full LCD instrument cluster, a large vertically-oriented central control screen, and a dial-type electronic gear shifter. The NOMI voice assistant is also present, which is a distinctive design feature of NIO models.

In terms of powertrain, the NIO EC6 is equipped with a standard four-wheel drive system composed of front and rear dual motors. It offers two versions with a maximum combined power of 320 kW and 400 kW, and peak torque of 610 N·m and 725 N·m respectively. The corresponding acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is 5.4 seconds and 4.5 seconds. In terms of range, the new car offers optional battery packs of 75 kWh and 100 kWh, with multiple versions available with NEDC ranges of 465 km, 475 km, 605 km, and 615 km.
