Product Introduction
Products Description

The NIO EC7 is built on NIO's second-generation NT2 platform, and it is also the first Coupe SUV on this platform. The vehicle boasts the lowest aerodynamic drag coefficient of 0.230cd among global SUV models.

The design of the NIO EC7 continues the second-generation design language, with the iconic "lookout tower" layout consistent with the ES7. The signature Double Dash daytime running lights extend along the edge of the Shark Nose, appearing sharper. The front headlights feature high-gloss black contour accents, enhancing their exquisite and spirited appearance. The Shark Nose design, resembling a shark's nose, is one of the reasons for its low aerodynamic drag.

The new vehicle boasts the lowest aerodynamic drag coefficient of 0.230cd among global SUV models. It is equipped with features such as an active lift-type rear wing, concealed door handles, and more.
8
The center console adopts a dual IP design style, dividing it into upper and lower layers, thereby breaking the sense of heaviness caused by the higher hood of an SUV.

As a Coupe SUV, the NIO EC7 combines the high seating position and spaciousness of an SUV with the elegance and sportiness desired by consumers. The vehicle exhibits a perfect Coupe SUV stance, with the roof intersecting the front and rear lines at the B-pillar, shifting the visual focus forward and creating a dynamic forward momentum. The long wheelbase and extended rear overhang ensure ample rear passenger space while creating a sleek back curve. In terms of dimensions, the NIO EC7 measures 496819741714mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2960mm. It is positioned as a pure electric mid-to-large-sized 5-seater SUV. The minimum ground clearance is 162mm (equipped with standard air suspension, with a maximum chassis height increase of 40mm), an approach angle of nearly 17°, and a departure angle of 20°.

As NIO's first mass-produced vehicle with an active lift-type rear wing, the NIO EC7 not only enhances the visual sportiness but also improves the overall aerodynamic performance of the vehicle. The active lift-type rear wing has automatic and manual modes. In automatic mode, there are two settings: reduced drag and handling. The reduced drag mode activates at 80 km/h, reducing drag by 4% (10 counts) and achieving a minimum drag coefficient of 0.230cd. The handling mode activates at 170 km/h and fully counteracts the rear lift caused by differences in airflow above and below the vehicle. At a high-speed of 200 km/h, it can provide 63 kg of overall downforce. In manual mode, the driver can control the wing position through the central control screen: closed, reduced drag, handling, and automatic.

In terms of interior design, the new vehicle continues the consistent cabin design concept of the second living space, creating a wrap-around visual experience and a serene overall ambiance. Due to the SUV's higher hood, the center console often appears excessively heavy. To address this, the center console adopts a dual IP design style, dividing it into upper and lower layers to break the sense of heaviness.

In terms of powertrain, the NIO EC7 is equipped with the second-generation high-efficiency electric propulsion platform. The motors continue to adopt the front permanent magnet and rear induction configuration, with maximum power outputs of 180 kW for the front motor and 300 kW for the rear motor. The system's total power is 480 kW, with a peak torque of 850 N·m. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and has a braking distance of 33.9 meters from 100 km/h to a complete stop. The vehicle comes standard with an air suspension and CDC intelligent dynamic damping system. For the battery, the NIO EC7 offers different capacity options. The standard range battery pack (75 kWh) provides a CLTC range of 490 kilometers, while the long-range battery pack (100 kWh) offers a range of 635 kilometers. Taking the 75 kWh standard range battery pack as an example, it can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 30 minutes.
