It has its own unique logo and operates independently in terms of product development, manufacturing, and service systems. HAVAL primarily engages in the production and sales of SUVs.
HAVAL holds a significant portion of the SUV sales within the Great Wall brand. As of September 2019, its flagship model, the HAVAL H6, had achieved the highest monthly SUV sales for 76 consecutive months. HAVAL plays a crucial role in connecting the different generations of Great Wall SUV products as the successor to the Great Wall Sefer.
On August 22, 2022, the General Manager of HAVAL, Li Xiaorui, revealed that by 2030, HAVAL brand would officially cease the sale of fossil fuel vehicles.
On September 28, 2022, Great Wall Motors announced the official launch of the HAVAL Magic Car H6 new energy vehicle - the third-generation HAVAL H6 DHT-PHEV. The new vehicle is available in two versions: one with a range of 55km and another with a range of 110km, offering three different configurations.
