1:What is it?
The brake steel hose is a rubber hose that covers a high-strength steel wire and is further protected by an outer layer of wear-resistant material.

2:Function
The rubber material of the hose has a certain elasticity. When the brake pedal is pressed, the sudden increase in hydraulic pressure causes the brake pressure to partially convert into outward expansion of the rubber hose, thereby enlarging its inner diameter. This change in pressure within the brake system results in a decrease in braking force and an increase in braking distance and time. This poses a safety risk for vehicles, especially during high-frequency and high-intensity braking, where the limitations of the rubber hose become more apparent. The solution is to replace the rubber hose with a brake steel hose. The metal layer of the brake steel hose primarily restricts the expansion of the rubber hose, preventing the loss of braking force due to expansion.
