SAIC Maxus Interstellar H
Products Description
The SAIC Maxus Interstellar H offers a variety of models, including diesel/gasoline, two-wheel drive/four-wheel drive, standard wheelbase/extended wheelbase. The overall design of the vehicle is robust and imposing, taking on the style of its larger SUV models, giving it a more rugged appeal. The LED headlights maintain the current trend of a split design and come with an automatic headlight feature. Between the LED daytime running lights, there's a black decorative panel that connects them and has the “MAXUS” logo embedded, emphasizing brand identity.
From the side, the exterior mirror casings, door handles, and other previously chrome-finished areas are now given a black treatment. Additionally, it features black roof racks and side steps. In terms of dimensions, its length/width/height are: 5395×1960×1855mm, with a wheelbase of 3165mm. For tires, it is equipped with 265/60 R18s, paired with dual six-spoke rims.
At the rear, the SAIC Maxus Interstellar H remains easily recognizable. The black trim features a prominent “MAXUS” logo, surrounded by designs reminiscent of through-taillights. The black bumper incorporates two reversing radar sensors and a step for easy access. The panoramic camera for the rear is integrated into the tailgate handle.

Inside the cargo bed, a protective coating has been applied. For the standard wheelbase model, the cargo bed dimensions are: 1485/1510/530mm. Surrounding the cargo area, there's a robust roll cage. Notably, the tailgate is equipped with gas struts, ensuring it lowers gently when opened.
Regarding the interior, the SAIC Maxus Interstellar H has been redesigned. The combination of brown, black, and white offers a sharper contrast and depth. The dashboard features a generous application of soft-touch materials and leather wrapping, showcasing quality craftsmanship. The new vehicle is also equipped with twin 12.3-inch full-LCD instrument and central control screens, powered by Tencent's TAI 4.0 in-car system. The secondary instrument panel area is not only distinct in design but also technologically practical, equipped with a four-wheel drive dial, electronic parking brake (the flagship version also supports wireless phone charging), as well as storage compartments and cup holders.
In terms of seating, the SAIC Maxus Interstellar H's front seats are designed as one-piece sport seats in brown synthetic leather combined with suede. The driver's seat supports six-way power adjustments. The rear seats offer decent padding for comfort and are equipped with ISOFIX child seat anchors.
For the powertrain, the SAIC Maxus Interstellar H continues to use SAIC's π2.0T diesel and 2.0T gasoline engines. The diesel engine comes in both single turbo and twin-turbo versions. The former offers a maximum output of 163 horsepower and peak torque of 410 Nm, while the latter provides 218 horsepower and 500 Nm of peak torque. The 2.0T gasoline engine delivers a maximum of 261 horsepower with a peak torque of 410 Nm. Depending on the specific model, either a 6-speed manual transmission (6MT) or an 8-speed automatic transmission (8AT) is available.
