The HONGQI HS3 is positioned as a compact SUV, adopting the new design language of Red Flag (HONGQI), further evoking a sense of luxury. Not only that, the vehicle has a wheelbase of 2770mm, which is advantageous within its class.

The HONGQI HS3 continues the Red Flag winged design theme. The upright front grille is exaggerated in size, with a cascading chrome decoration inside, extending to the Red Flag lines on the engine hood, seamlessly connecting to the central grille, giving it an even more dominant visual effect. In addition, the headlights combined with the wing run through harmoniously. The floating body-colored details in the headlight area emphasize a sense of sportiness and technology.

The side profile of the car is dynamic, with a waistline that remains higher at the front and lowers toward the rear, extending forward to sketch a slightly aggressive stance. The defining line from the front to the rear gives the car a more cohesive and elongated appearance. Furthermore, the new car also adds a Red Flag emblem on the fenders, making the overall shape more fashionable. It's worth mentioning that the HONGQI HS3 offers a dual-color body option. In terms of body dimensions, the HS3 measures 4655mm in length, 1900mm in width, and 1668mm in height, with a 2770mm wheelbase. For the wheels, the five-spoke wind blade design is trendy, with a tire size of 235/60 R18.

The interior of the HONGQI HS3 adopts a classic wrap-around cockpit design, centered around the control screen as the symmetrical axis, with features sequentially extending to the door panels on both sides.

The rear design of the car looks robust, with divided upper and lower parts based on horizontally and vertically combined lights. The lower bumper design, with the addition of black lines, feels substantial. Additionally, the car features dual exhaust outlets, exuding sportiness.

Inside, the HONGQI HS3 features a classic wrap-around cockpit, centered around the control screen, with features symmetrically spreading to the door panels on both sides. The vehicle is also equipped with a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 12.6-inch central control screen. The three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel has a flat-bottom design. The seats are wide and plush, appearing quite upscale.

Regarding features, depending on the model, the new car will offer keyless entry, automatic air conditioning, Dana sound system, ACC adaptive cruise control, fully automatic parking, 360-degree panoramic imaging, mobile remote car control, 253-color ambient lighting, and various driving mode adjustments.

In terms of power, the HONGQI HS3 offers both gasoline and hybrid models. The gasoline models are equipped with either a 1.5T+7DCT or a 2.0T+8AT, with maximum power outputs of 118kW and 185kW respectively, and peak torques of 258 N·m and 380 N·m respectively. For the hybrid model, it provides a 1.5T hybrid system, with an engine maximum power of 118kW, engine peak torque of 258 N·m, electric motor maximum power of 140kW, electric motor peak torque of 280 N·m, and a system maximum power of up to 190kW.
