CHERY Tiggo 9

The CHERY Tiggo 9 comes in 5 different models and is positioned as a mid-size SUV, available in both 5-seater and 7-seater options. As the flagship model of CHERY, the new vehicle incorporates the most advanced technology and features of the Tiggo family, taking the overall product to a new level.

In terms of exterior design, the CHERY Tiggo 9 features a distinct design style that sets it apart from previous models. It has a large-sized waterfall-style grille with chrome accents, including intricately designed trim to enhance its three-dimensional appearance. The headlights are connected to the grille, with a slender and lens-incorporated design. The raised muscular lines on the hood and the three-section air intake below give the front face a more aggressive look.

From the side, the vehicle appears sleeker and wider, providing a visually larger size. The dimensions of the new car are 4820mm in length, 1930mm in width, and 1699mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2820mm.

The length and height dimensions of the vehicle are significantly better than those of the Tiggo 8 PLUS, including the size of the third-row windows. Therefore, the entire vehicle will have a brand-new visual appearance.

The seat upholstery also reflects a sense of luxury, including a combination of different fabrics and different stitching patterns on the leather, as well as softer headrests.

At the rear, the elongated taillights once again contribute to the perception of a wide body, and a large-sized spoiler is placed on the roof. The rear bumper features a dual-exhaust layout on both sides.

In terms of interior, both the color scheme and materials exude a sense of luxury. The center console features faux wood texture panels and extensive soft-touch surfaces. Delicate chrome accents adorn the air conditioning vents, and the wide central armrest area adds to the overall upscale feel.

The car adopts a dual-screen design, based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and 5G gigabit Ethernet, providing high-performance infotainment. The vehicle is also equipped with a SONY surround sound system with 14 speakers and a 256-color waterfall-style ambient lighting. The center console includes controls for seats, multimedia, and air conditioning, with a wireless charging pad located in the front section.

The new car is available in both 5-seater and 7-seater configurations. The driver's seat includes ventilation, heating, memory, and massage functions, while the rear seats have dedicated controls for the boss.

In terms of powertrain, the new car will be equipped with the Kunpeng Power 2.0TGDI engine, delivering a maximum power of 192kW (261Ps) and a peak torque of 400N·m. It will be paired with either a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (7DCT) or an 8-speed automatic transmission (8AT).

The vehicle is equipped with a CDC suspension system, which features continuous adjustment of suspension softness and hardness, dynamic feedback adjustment at a rate of 1000 times per second, and OTA infinite evolution and upgrade technology, achieving intelligent full-sensing adjustment. Compared to a conventional suspension, it improves comfort by 74.8%, provides over 50% improvement in body roll comfort, and enhances quietness, grip, and body stability by over 30%.
