Recently, ZF China has obtained the group's first L4 level autonomous driving test license, becoming the first foreign-funded automotive component enterprise to receive an L4 level autonomous driving test license in Shanghai. In the future, ZF will conduct autonomous driving public road tests in designated areas under the supervision and guidance of the Shanghai municipal government.
In response to the high technical requirements of L4 level autonomy, ZF's autonomous driving full-stack R&D capabilities include perception, localization, AI, data, decision-making, and control. Moreover, its system also applies ZF's cutting-edge technologies in the fields of autonomous driving and chassis, primarily including four aspects: various algorithm applications based on 4D millimeter-wave radar, visual + 4D millimeter-wave fusion technology based on BEV Transformer, a complete Auto labeling toolchain, and integrated cubiX® chassis control algorithms.
