Recently, analysis firms have predicted that Tesla plans to unveil three new models at a press conference on October 11 (Beijing time, October 10 local time in Los Angeles), including the autonomous Robotaxi, the Robovan delivery vehicle, and a $25,000 electric car (approximately 175,000 RMB).

The $25,000 Tesla model has drawn significant attention, with analysts believing that mass production of this vehicle will drive a 12% increase in Tesla's revenue next year. This model will compete directly with household cars like the Toyota Corolla, and in China, it will clearly rival models from BYD. Previously, there have been reports that Xiaomi's third car model will enter the 150,000 RMB market as an extended-range vehicle. Analysts predict that the Tesla $25,000 car will be launched between the end of 2025 and early 2026.
Elon Musk has shared a promotional poster for the event on his domestic and international social media accounts, stating, "This will go down in history." He also mentioned that after Tesla launches its self-driving cars, there will be no need for buses, as these vehicles will transport people to their destinations at prices similar to bus fares.
Additionally, reports suggest that Tesla is advancing its largest battery project since its founding, planning to release four new types of 4680 batteries by 2026. These batteries will serve the Robotaxi, Cybertruck, and the $25,000 affordable electric car, with increased production of the 4680 battery considered key to reducing the overall cost of the company's product lineup.
