According to media reports, Tesla has finally introduced the Cybertruck model to the Canadian market. However, its pricing may give consumers pause when considering the purchase of this long-awaited electric pickup.
On August 8th, it was reported that Tesla is rapidly processing its large backlog of Cybertruck orders. Foreign media predict that the company will open up Cybertruck orders to more consumers and more markets, particularly the Canadian market.

On August 9th, Tesla began sending invitations to Canadian Cybertruck reservation holders to convert their reservations into actual orders.
Tesla has announced the current pricing for two versions of the Cybertruck in Canada:
Cybertruck All-Wheel Drive Foundation Series: CAD 137,990
Cyberbeast Foundation Series: CAD 165,990
Despite the unfavorable exchange rate situation, some automakers may adjust pricing to increase their appeal to Canadian buyers. However, Tesla has not done so; the prices mentioned above are essentially a direct conversion of the U.S. prices into Canadian dollars.
As in the U.S. market, only the Foundation Series of the Cybertruck is available for sale in Canada. When all options are included, the price of this series is $20,000 higher than the base version. Tesla is expected to open orders for the regular version of the Cybertruck (excluding the rear-wheel-drive version) to consumers by the end of this year.
In the Canadian market, besides the Tesla Cybertruck, consumers looking to purchase an electric pickup have other options, such as the Ford F-150 Lightning, which is priced between $59,995 and $110,495. Additionally, the Silverado EV is also a good choice, with prices ranging from $75,000 to $118,000.
