According to media reports, Tesla announced it will unveil a new product in Los Angeles on October 10 (October 11 Beijing time), with an event themed "We, Robot."
CEO Elon Musk stated this event will be "historic," promoting it as potentially the biggest in the company's history.
The teaser poster is seen as an invitation to the Robotaxi (self-driving taxi) launch event, where Tesla will introduce the Robotaxi.
Originally, Tesla planned to launch the Robotaxi on August 8, but Musk confirmed on July 16 that the release was postponed due to significant design changes requested for the front of the vehicle, allowing extra time to showcase other features.
Insiders revealed that the launch event will take place at Warner Bros. Discovery's film studio in Burbank, California, near Hollywood.
Musk has repeatedly built excitement for the Robotaxi launch. With the invitation now sent, he emphasized its historical significance, claiming it could be the largest event since the launch of the Model 3.
At the event, Tesla will showcase its dedicated platform for self-driving cars planned for release in the coming years. It will not only unveil the Robotaxi but also serve as an opportunity for Tesla to highlight its advancements in autonomous driving.
