Recently, Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd., in accordance with the "Regulations on the Administration of Defective Automotive Product Recalls" and the "Implementation Measures for the Regulations on the Administration of Defective Automotive Product Recalls," filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation.
Recall Scope:
Effective immediately, the recall includes a total of 11 imported GLB vehicles, produced between October 18, 2023, and November 13, 2023.
Reason for Recall:
In some vehicles within the scope of this recall, the rear axle brake hose was not arranged as required, which may cause the brake hose to come into contact with adjacent components, leading to wear, brake fluid leakage, and reduced braking effectiveness, posing a safety hazard.
Solution:
Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. will inspect and correct the rear axle brake hose arrangement for the vehicles covered by the recall through Mercedes-Benz authorized dealers. If wear is found, the brake hose will be replaced to eliminate the safety hazard.
