Recently, Porsche (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd., in compliance with the 'Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automotive Products' and the 'Implementation Measures for the Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automotive Products', has filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation. Starting from October 16, 2023, Porsche will recall certain imported Taycan series cars produced between September 22, 2022, and August 3, 2023, totaling 2,570 vehicles.

Reason for Recall:
For some vehicles within this recall range, there's an insufficient amount of sealant between the high-voltage battery frame and the battery cover. This might allow liquid to enter the interior of the high-voltage battery, leading to a decrease in the internal insulation resistance of the high-voltage battery. This raises the risk of the battery experiencing thermal runaway, posing a safety concern.
