On June 16, Porsche (China) Sales Limited filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the "Regulations on the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recalls" and the "Implementation Measures for the Regulations on the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recalls." The recall applies to one 2020 model 911 series vehicle manufactured on February 12, 2020.

The vehicles within the scope of this recall have a manufacturing defect where individual welding points on the underbody shield were not properly connected, resulting in insufficient body strength. This may increase the risk of occupant injury in the event of a collision, posing a safety hazard.
Porsche (China) Sales Limited, through authorized dealers, will conduct a free inspection of the affected connection points on the vehicle's body and perform necessary repairs to eliminate the safety hazard. Porsche (China) Sales Limited will notify the affected vehicle owners through registered mail and other means.
