NIO Has Released The Banyan 2.0.0 System

NIO recently unveiled the Banyan 2.0.0 system, making it the industry's first system to achieve computational aggregation. This new system combines heterogeneous capabilities, integrating the computing power of the 8155 chip, OrinX, and N expandable architecture. The system updates will be rolled out in stages, with the ES7, 2022 ET7, and ET5 receiving updates in late June, followed by the EC7 and 2023 ET7 at the end of June. The all-new ES6 will also receive the update by the end of June.

The 2.0.0 system introduces a fresh user interface and interactive design, adds automatic route planning, includes dedicated service groups within the in-car system, enhances the note-taking function of NOMI, enables BEV models to display traffic signals and more road signage information, and introduces remote parking assist functionality.

With over 20 versions and 200+ feature additions, along with 400+ user experience optimizations, the intelligent system has continually enriched the driving experience. The new Banyan 2.0.0 system brings over 120 new features and optimizations, with ongoing evolution to keep things fresh and up-to-date.
