Nezha Auto is expanding its overseas market presence. On June 8th, Nezha Auto officially entered the Jordanian market, with the Nezha U and Nezha V models being launched and delivered in Jordan. According to Nezha Auto, the Nezha GT model will also be introduced to the Jordanian market in the future.
At the same time, Nezha Auto held a strategic signing ceremony with Jordan's Tahboub Automotive Company, indicating that the two parties will collaborate in areas such as vehicle sales and after-sales services to accelerate the development of the global new energy vehicle industry.
This entry into the Jordanian market signifies the further implementation of Nezha Auto's "deep cultivation in ASEAN, and expansion into the European Union" overseas strategy in the Middle East. Wang Chengjie, Vice President of Nezha Auto's Overseas Division, stated, "Currently, the global situation is ever-changing, and the demand for transportation is rapidly evolving. Nezha Auto firmly believes that electric vehicles are the future trend and has always been committed to promoting the development of electric vehicles with a focus on cleanliness, greenness, and efficient sustainable development, making high-quality intelligent electric vehicles accessible to all."
Data shows that in May, Nezha Auto delivered 13,029 vehicles, an 18% year-on-year increase. Among them, the Nezha V series accounted for 5,138 deliveries, the Nezha U series accounted for 3,963 deliveries, the Nezha S series accounted for 2,212 deliveries, and the Nezha GT accounted for 1,716 deliveries. In terms of May's delivery volume, the overseas market contributed 2,042 vehicles, accounting for 15.7% of Nezha Auto's monthly sales. The launch of the Nezha U and Nezha V models in Jordan will further boost Nezha Auto's overseas sales growth.
It is reported that Jordan has high fuel costs, ranking among the highest in the world, and there is a significant demand for new energy vehicles in the local market. Additionally, the Jordanian government is actively promoting the popularization and adoption of electric vehicles, implementing a series of policies and measures to encourage their development, such as offering purchase subsidies, tax exemptions, and other preferential policies. Therefore, it is foreseeable that Jordan's electric vehicle market will gradually grow and expand in the future.
