As of November, the company has maintained monthly sales exceeding 30,000 units for four consecutive months in international markets. Shiqingke, Vice President of Great Wall Motors and Head of Overseas Business, previously stated that the achievements made by Great Wall Motors this year in international markets are the result of strategic early positioning.
In 2023, Great Wall Motors has made several dynamic moves overseas. In November, the company officially launched its ONE GWM European strategy, and the WEY 03 was introduced to the European market. The pure electric coupe under the ORA brand, Lightning Cat, was also launched in Thailand.
In early October, Great Wall Motors made a significant announcement at the Guadalajara Auto Show in Mexico, unveiling the ORA brand. The Eura Good Cat (internationally named ORA 03), a pure electric vehicle under the ORA brand, was concurrently launched. On October 26, Great Wall Motors held the offline ceremony for the first unit of the Great Wall Cannon CKD project at the CIAUTO factory in Ecuador. CIAUTO is Great Wall Motors' first authorized CKD overseas assembly plant in Latin America and one of the three major KD assembly plants in Ecuador.
