On May 29th, the Changan Ford Explorer Kunlun Pinnacle Edition was officially launched with a price of 399,800 yuan. Compared to the standard models, the new vehicle not only received personalized upgrades in terms of appearance but also improved its off-road capability in terms of hardware. It is available in both 6-seater and 7-seater versions.

The Ford Explorer Kunlun Pinnacle Edition offers four color options for the body, including Aljin Orange, Seychelles Black, White Sea Grey, and Greenland White. Among them, the highlighted color is Aljin Orange, emitting a unique sporty vibe with its vibrant warm tones. The front end of the vehicle features a black-painted grille and detailed accents, while the ice blade-style grille lights enhance its distinctive identity. In addition, the tow hooks on the lower sides of the front bumper are designed in the same color as the body, giving it a unique visual characteristic.

On the side profile, the new vehicle adopts black-painted wheel arches and side skirts that match the front grille. It is complemented by newly styled alloy wheels, which harmonize with the body color. In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5066mm in length, 2004mm in width, and 1797mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3025mm. Proudly displayed on the C-pillar is the unique Kunlun Mountain totem emblem, highlighting its special identity.
At the rear, the vehicle maintains its sharp and defined lines, accompanied by full-width LED taillights. The "EXPLORER" emblem on the upper part of the taillights features a smoked black treatment, showcasing exquisite details.

Entering the cabin, the new vehicle incorporates exclusive emblems on the seats and welcome pedals. Furthermore, certain areas of the interior feature suede leather material, adding a touch of premium texture. The vehicle is equipped with a 12.3-inch LCD instrument cluster and a 27-inch horizontal connectivity screen, integrating the Ford SYNC+2.0 intelligent infotainment system, greatly enhancing the technological atmosphere inside the car. Additionally, the new vehicle offers both 6-seater and 7-seater configurations to meet the needs of different users.

In terms of powertrain, the new vehicle will continue to be equipped with a 2.3-liter turbocharged engine, delivering a maximum power of 203kW (276 horsepower) and a peak torque of 425Nm. It is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle also features a four-wheel-drive system with a TorSen limited-slip differential on the rear axle. Furthermore, it boasts impressive off-road performance with approach and departure angles of 23° and 24° respectively, ensuring excellent off-road capability.
