Recently, a series of detailed images of Xiaomi's first car model have been leaked, revealing a sleek, streamlined design. The vehicle's undercarriage features a one-piece die-casting technology. According to the plan, Xiaomi's car is set to officially launch in the first half of 2024.

Taking a closer look at the details, the new car boasts a fluid and elongated profile, with a wide and low stance, which is expected to provide outstanding aerodynamic performance. Furthermore, from the spy photos, it appears that the new car may feature the currently popular concealed door handles.

Regarding the rear details, despite the camouflage cover, a curved and continuous taillight design is visible, with raised shapes on both sides.

Concerning the interior door panels, the new car is equipped with speaker covers bearing the "xiaomi" lettering, indicating a self-developed audio system similar to HUAWEI SOUND found in the Huawei Mate series.

According to disclosed information, Xiaomi's car will highlight key features such as autonomous driving, software ecosystem, 800V fast charging, and power configurations, with an estimated price below 300,000 RMB. Xiaomi's strengths include the integration of its existing ecosystem and a well-established sales network. Currently, Xiaomi's sales network extends to international markets, making it a globally recognized company, which is advantageous for the rapid global expansion of Xiaomi's car.

In September, there was news that Xiaomi's car is currently in the trial production phase, with approximately 50 prototype cars produced per week. According to insiders, Xiaomi's car is expected to receive approval from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology soon, and at the latest by the end of the year. With the approval in hand, Xiaomi can immediately start full-scale production of its cars.

It is understood that Xiaomi's car will use Qualcomm's automotive chip, likely the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295, which is already featured in the Geely Xingyue 01 model. Additionally, the new car will support Apple CarPlay connectivity. Based on some earlier speculations, the all-electric model will adopt an 800V platform with a 101kWh ternary lithium battery, possibly achieving a range of over 700 kilometers. The new car will also be equipped with a LiDAR system, supporting advanced driver assistance for autonomous driving.
