Expected To Debut in 2026: Will You Still Love It Without The Roar? Spy Shots Of The All-Electric 718 Cayman

Exterior Design

The new 718 Cayman EV features LED headlights with Porsche's signature four-point daytime running lights, resembling the Porsche Taycan's headlamp design. The lower front section sports a wide three-section air intake, giving it an aggressive look. The horizontal grille design helps direct airflow to the braking system and other components to enhance cooling.

From the side profile, the electric Cayman appears longer than its gasoline-powered counterpart. An air intake behind the doors remains, likely serving as a cooling channel for the electric motor or battery. The rear design is sleek and streamlined, with no visible large spoiler, and the taillights are expected to adopt a full-width light strip design.

Powertrain

Currently, there is no official information on the powertrain, but the new model will be built on Porsche's PPE (Premium Platform Electric) architecture. It is expected to offer both rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) variants.
