Recently, during a live broadcast event, Chery Automobile Chairman Yin Tongyue revealed that Chery Automobile is about to sign a technology platform cooperation agreement with a European luxury brand.
"There are currently two European luxury car brands interested in using our platform, and one of them will sign an agreement with us," Yin Tongyue said, noting that this agreement will be signed during his European trip starting on April 16.

In addition to finalizing partnerships with these two brands, Yin Tongyue also disclosed that Chery is in negotiations with two other brands for potential collaborations, indicating high industry recognition of Chery's technology platform.
It is reported that Jaguar Land Rover may become the first high-end carmaker to adopt Chery's platform. Sources revealed that Jaguar Land Rover will utilize Chery Automobile's Stardust brand's hybrid and electric vehicle technology platforms.
In China, Chery Automobile has a joint venture with Jaguar Land Rover and produces Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles at a factory in Changshu. In 2023, Jaguar Land Rover's retail sales in China reached 106,377 units, a 25% year-on-year increase.
Apart from negotiating technology platform licensing with foreign carmakers, Chery is also actively seeking suitable locations in Europe to establish production bases. The Spanish government and its chief negotiator EV Motors revealed last week that they are close to reaching an agreement with Chery to produce cars in Spain. There have also been reports that the Italian government is in negotiations with Chery, hoping to attract its car production to the local market.
