At the 2023 Chengdu Auto Show, the ChangAn QiYuan A07 was officially introduced to the public. This vehicle represents the inaugural model from ChangAn Auto's brand new "QiYuan" product line, offering consumers both range extender hybrid and pure electric versions.
The new vehicle embodies a fresh design language. A closed-off front grille combined with a through-type headlight group has undoubtedly become one of the most common designs in the current market. Moreover, the car features a through-type air vent at the front bumper, presenting a wider and more grounded appearance. The car's logo can be interpreted as the binary numbers 1 and 0, representing the fundamental origin in digital terms.
Looking to the side, the car embraces the currently popular fastback design, rendering an overall visual effect that is clean and sleek. The ChangAn QiYuan A07 is positioned as a mid-to-large sedan. At the rear, the car continues the minimalist design, with a through-type taillight group and a slightly raised ducktail design, lending the car a sportier look.
Stepping inside, the car boasts leather wrappings and wood-grain decorations. It features wrap-around ambient lights on the central console and door panels, giving the interior environment a refined elegance. Additionally, the car is equipped with a dual-spoke multifunction steering wheel; the functional areas on both sides incorporate black design elements, creating a stronger sense of luxury. Furthermore, the car will be fitted with a HUD (Heads-Up Display) and adopts a nostalgic gear design.
In terms of dimensions, the car measures 4905mm in length, 1910mm in width, and 1480mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2900mm. Power-wise, the vehicle is built upon ChangAn's EPA1 platform, offering both range extender hybrid and pure electric options for consumers. The former employs a 1.5L Atkinson cycle engine, where the engine's maximum power stands at 66kW and the driving motor peaks at 160kW. The pure electric version utilizes a motor named XTDM27, with a maximum power of 258 horsepower.
