At the 2023 Munich Auto Show, the new Mercedes-Benz EQB made its debut. The vehicle underwent major upgrades primarily in its exterior and interior designs. The EQB will start accepting pre-orders overseas this autumn, with deliveries beginning early next year.

Exterior: From the outside, the primary focus of the new EQB is the revamped front end. The car features a completely new grille design covered with a dense "starry sky" pattern, consistent with the new EQE SUV. This design is more brand-identifiable than the older model's two horizontal chrome strips. The rest of the front maintains its current design.

The side profile of the vehicle remains consistent with the current model but now showcases new multi-spoke sporty wheel rims, exuding a sense of athleticism. Changes at the rear mainly concern the taillights. The two new models still use through-type tail lights, but with slight internal structural adjustments. When lit, the EQB's taillights display parallel dual horizontal stripes.

Interior: Inside, both new models feature the latest version of the Mercedes-Benz family-style steering wheel, adopting the most recent family design trend. The central screen measures 10.25 inches and employs the latest MBUX infotainment system. This updated system is optimized for voice control, significantly enhancing the convenience of wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additionally, it introduces a new "mileage monitoring" feature, displaying various energy-saving options on the central screen. Mercedes also offers an optional Dolby surround sound system. The vehicle comes standard with five seats, but a seven-seat option is available.

Powertrain: For the 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB, three power configurations are available overseas: EQB 250+, EQB 300 4MATIC, and EQB 350 4MATIC. The EQB 250+ features a single motor front-wheel drive with a maximum power of 188 horsepower. Both the EQB 300 4MATIC and EQB 350 4MATIC have dual motor all-wheel drive, delivering maximum powers of 225 horsepower and 288 horsepower respectively. All three models come with the same battery capacity of 70.5kWh.
