At the 2023 Munich Auto Show, DongFeng Forthing unveiled its brand new MPV: U-TOUR V9.
Exterior Design: The design of the new vehicle is quite distinctive. The vertical grille at the top is complemented with a diamond shape, creating a design reminiscent of a "Chinese knot", offering a high degree of recognizability. Worth noting is that the front light cluster seamlessly integrates with the front grille, resulting in enhanced cohesion and exuding a modern flair. Moreover, the intake port that dominates the front face is notably assertive, amplifying the vehicle's sense of volume.
Compared to the front, the rear design is notably simplistic, with a through-taillight that aligns with the current trends. In terms of dimensions, the new car measures 5251mm in length, 1920mm in width, and 1810mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3018mm. This wheelbase is close to that of the GL8. When compared to the currently popular Tengshi D9, their lengths are similar but the wheelbase is slightly shorter.
Regarding the interior, the vehicle adopts the trendy integrated through-screen design and is equipped with a new-style three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel and an electronic gear lever, rendering the car with a youthful and modern appearance. The flat lines of the center console, paired with a two-tone interior design, further enhance the vehicle's luxurious feel.
On the powertrain front, the new vehicle features a hybrid system. Its 1.5T engine has a maximum power of 140kW, and the battery is sourced from Xinwangda.
