On June 9th, during the 2023 Chongqing Auto Show, the Great Wall Pao Long officially debuted with a price tag of 256,800 yuan. The Pao Long is a customized collaboration between Great Wall Pao and SHELBY, the modification brand under Beijing Yuanda SHELBY. It is equipped with a 2.0T+8AT part-time four-wheel drive system, and its chassis configuration provides off-road enthusiasts with the confidence to explore the outdoors.
In terms of exterior design, the "Viper" front-end design gives the Pao Long a more aggressive visual appeal, complemented by the "Baja Outlaw" sporty front and rear bumpers, creating a fierce appearance. The signature SHELBY-style stripes further enhance its eye-catching capability. The vehicle has been raised by 1.5 inches, and the chassis has been reinforced with an 8-stage adjustable K-MAN high-performance suspension, aiming to enhance off-road capabilities while maintaining comfort on urban roads.
The new car supports optional accessories such as a snorkel, "BAJA SNAKE" decals, and different wheel styles. The wheel size is 17 inches, and the tires are equipped with 285/70 R17 BFGoodrich KO2 tires. In terms of dimensions, the length, width, and height of the new car are 5489/2084/1933mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 3230mm. The cargo bed dimensions are 1520mm in length, 1520mm in width, and 540mm in height.
The interior of the Pao Long features a black-brown color scheme. In terms of powertrain, the Great Wall Pao Long continues to be equipped with a 2.0T gasoline engine, with a maximum power of 160kW (218 horsepower) and a maximum torque of 380N·m, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
