BMW IX1

In terms of appearance, the BMW ix1 features a signature closed grille design, incorporating blue design elements in the grille, front bumper, side skirts, and rear bumper, resulting in a highly distinguishable overall look. The front bumper on both sides has large ventilation openings, with rugged lines giving it a sporty touch.

On the side of the vehicle, the BMW ix1 has concealed door handles, which help to reduce the drag coefficient. The quick charging port is located where the fuel filler would be on a conventional combustion engine car, while the regular charging port is on the fender. In terms of dimensions, the car measures 4616/1845/1641mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2802mm. The rear design exudes a powerful aesthetic. Even though there's no exhaust, the two-tone design of the rear bumper still conveys a sense of sportiness.

The BMW iX1 follows the design of the all-new BMW X1 in its styling, featuring a larger dual-kidney grille and polygonal-designed LED headlight assemblies. The iX1's grille adopts a closed design, and when combined with the aggressive-looking LED headlights, gives the front face of the car a more dominant and fierce appearance.

The interior design of the BMW iX1 is almost identical to that of the all-new BMW X1, with a very clean and straightforward layout. It features a dual-screen setup consisting of a 10.25-inch all-LCD instrument panel and a 10.7-inch central control screen.

Inside, the BMW ix1 is equipped with a 10.25-inch all-LCD instrument panel connected to a 10.7-inch central multimedia display, forming a dual-screen setup. It also features BMW's latest iDrive 9 system. Below the central console is a large wireless charging pad for mobile phones, alongside two cup holders. The control area and the central armrest form a stepped design, with a rotary electronic gear selector. Additionally, the design of the air vents is quite unique. The center is a single piece design while the passenger side has a double-row through design.

Space-wise, thanks to the overall increased dimensions of the new model, the interior space has also expanded. In terms of equipment, all models come standard with four USB-C ports, two 12V power sockets, and Bluetooth connectivity. Additionally, an optional 205W Harman Kardon premium sound system is available, boasting 12 speakers and high-fidelity speakers. Moreover, there's an interior-facing camera that allows owners to sync photos from inside the car to their bound smartphones, and they can also check the interior condition of the vehicle remotely via the My BMW app.

In the power department, the BMW ix1 is equipped with dual electric motors at the front and rear, boasting a maximum power of 313 hp and maximum torque of 493 Nm. With its all-wheel-drive system, it can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds. The car also comes with a 64.7kWh battery pack, offering a range of up to 450 km. Moreover, it features a 130kW fast-charging system, allowing it to charge from 10% to 80% in half an hour.
