The 2024 Volvo EX30 EV SUV continues the brand's signature "Scandinavian design" style overall. The most prominent feature in the front is the "T"-shaped headlights, which utilize grid-like light sources, giving it a futuristic appeal. The front grille will adopt a closed design but retains the Volvo logo.

With smooth body curves, the 2024 Volvo EX30 EV SUV features blackened ABC pillars, large low-drag wheels, and side skirts with anti-scratch strips. Moving to the rear, the vehicle maintains the Volvo family's style with vertically split taillights and a circular design element at the bottom. Dimension-wise, the car measures 4233/1838/1555mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2650mm, making it a compact SUV. The base model comes with 225/55 R18 wheels, the mid-range model with 245/45 R19 wheels, and the top-end model with 245/40 R20 wheels.

The Volvo EX30 bears a striking resemblance to the Volvo XC40, adhering to the principles of purity, simplicity, and elegance. It eschews intricate and extravagant decorations, opting instead for a minimalist design. The black-and-white dual-tone color scheme, paired with large pentagonal two-tone low-drag wheel hubs, adds a touch of sportiness to the overall aesthetic.

Due to the use of environmentally friendly and recyclable materials, the interior of the Volvo EX30 appears very modest. Its seats, dashboard, and door panels are all made from recyclable and renewable materials, including denim, linen, and wool blends (including approximately 70% recycled polyester fibers).

The cabin of the 2024 Volvo EX30 EV SUV continues the minimalist design philosophy, with the classic 12.3-inch vertical center screen still present. The three-spoke multifunction steering wheel buttons have been replaced with touch controls, and the air conditioning vents are hidden. With a smooth central armrest and almost no physical buttons, the vehicle exudes a high-tech atmosphere while retaining a sense of luxury. The Harman Kardon soundbar, spanning 1.2 meters across the dashboard, creates an immersive audio experience.

In terms of power, the vehicle comes in three versions: single-motor lithium iron phosphate rear-wheel drive, single-motor lithium ternary rear-wheel drive, and dual-motor lithium ternary all-wheel drive models. The single-motor version features rear-wheel drive with a maximum power of 200kW (272 horsepower) and peak torque of 343N·m. Acceleration from 0 to 100km/h takes 5.3 seconds and 5.7 seconds (lithium iron phosphate). The lithium iron phosphate version is equipped with a 49kWh battery pack, offering a WLTP range of 410km, while the lithium ternary rear-wheel drive version comes with a 66kWh battery pack, providing a WLTP range of 590km.

The all-wheel-drive version utilizes dual motors, with the front motor outputting 115kW/200N·m and the rear motor outputting 200kW/343N·m, yielding a combined power of 315kW and peak torque of 543N·m. Acceleration from 0 to 100km/h takes 3.6 seconds. The all-wheel-drive version also comes with a 66kWh battery pack, offering a maximum range of 540km. All models can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 26 minutes using DC fast charging.
