2024 BYD Destroyer 05 DMi Honor Edition

In terms of appearance, the 2024 BYD Destroyer 05 DMi Honor Edition adopts a large polygonal front grille design, accented with dotted-line elements internally, complemented by the brand new BYD logo and large vertical intake openings on both sides, giving the new car a very sporty look. Additionally, the new car will introduce a new Inkstone Blue body color, enhancing its overall texture.

The overall lines of the car's body are relatively flat, with slightly protruding front and rear fenders, creating a wide-body visual perception. At the rear, the new car features a clean overall tail design, with a through-type taillight assembly paired with the "Build Your Dream" emblem above, effectively enhancing its layered appearance. In terms of dimensions, the new car measures 4780/1837/1495mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2718mm.

As for the interior, the 2024 BYD Destroyer 05 DMi Honor Edition comes standard with rear air conditioning vents, one-key start, power-adjustable + heated exterior mirrors, automatic air conditioning, a 12.8-inch adaptive rotating floating Pad, DiLink smart connectivity system, and full-scenario digital key, among others.

In terms of power, the 2024 BYD Destroyer 05 DMi Honor Edition will be equipped with a DM-i plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5L engine and a permanent magnet synchronous drive motor. The engine has a maximum power output of 81 kW and a maximum torque of 135 N·m. For the drive motor, two power versions are available depending on the model, with maximum power outputs of 132 kW and 145 kW, and maximum torque of 316 N·m and 325 N·m respectively. In terms of the battery, the new car will be equipped with the DM-i super hybrid dedicated power-type blade battery pack, offering NEDC comprehensive pure electric ranges of 55km and 120km respectively.
